Water Security Products & Systems

Reddrok supplies the full water security stack for South Africa — generating drinking water from air, keeping stored water safe, and restoring drainage and treatment systems biologically. Browse the ranges below.

Aetherion Atmospheric Water Generators

Atmospheric water generators (AWG) extract drinking water directly from humidity in the air, then pass every droplet through a 7-stage filtration process including UV treatment and mineralisation. The Aetherion range spans 20 litres a day for a home up to 20,000 litres a day for municipal and utility-scale supply.

Redzyme Biological Treatment

Probiotic and enzyme-based treatment that digests organic build-up instead of masking it with harsh chemicals — restoring flow and biological balance in drains, grease traps, septic tanks and greywater systems.

Germicidal UV Tank Lamps

In-tank UV-C sterilisation that keeps stored water potable continuously, without dosing chemicals into your supply. Available in 55 watt and 100 watt units depending on tank volume.

Atmospheric Water Generators: Common Questions

What is an atmospheric water generator?
An atmospheric water generator (AWG) is an appliance that extracts moisture from the air and converts it into clean, drinkable water. Reddrok supplies Aetherion AWG units producing from 20 to 20,000 litres per day.
How does an atmospheric water generator make drinking water?
The unit draws in ambient air and cools it below its dew point so the moisture condenses. That condensate is then passed through a 7-stage filtration process including UV treatment and mineralisation, producing potable water that is recirculated through the filter every few hours so it stays safe while stored.
Do atmospheric water generators work in South African conditions?
Yes. The Aetherion range is rated for 10°C to 38°C and 28% to 90% relative humidity, which covers most South African climates. Output rises with temperature and humidity, so coastal regions such as the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal typically yield more per day than dry inland conditions.
What size atmospheric water generator do I need?
Size on daily litres consumed. A household or small office is usually served by the 20L to 80L units, light commercial and industrial sites by the 100L to 500L range, and utility, municipal or mass-supply applications by the 1,000L to 20,000L plants.
Does an AWG replace municipal water or a borehole?
An AWG can supply drinking water independently of municipal supply or a borehole, which is what makes it useful during outages, restrictions or Day Zero style shortages. Most sites run it alongside existing supply for potable water, with stored municipal or borehole water handling non-drinking use.

Services & Management
