Who we are

This policy explains how Reddrok Water Security Ecosystems (“Reddrok”, “we”) handles personal information under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We are the responsible party for the information you give us through reddrok.net.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us and what your browser tells our website:

• The enquiry form: your first and last name, email address, phone number, the system you ask about and your message.
• When you email, call or WhatsApp us: your contact details and whatever you choose to send.
• Website use: Google Analytics records which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and the approximate location, using cookies. It does not tell us who you are.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, supply and service the systems you buy from us, and keep our records as the law requires. We use website statistics to see which pages help people and to improve the site. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who we share it with

Only those who help us answer you: the service that delivers the enquiry form to our inbox (Zapier), Google for website statistics, our website host, and, where your site is in their region, the Reddrok partner who will quote or install for you. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms apply to that conversation.

Some of these services store information outside South Africa. We use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. Then we delete it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website is served over an encrypted connection.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at the address below. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at www.inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings; the website works without them.
